Asheville

Greg is a native North Carolinian from Manson, a small farming community in the northeastern piedmont. An alumnus of North Carolina State University, Greg began his career with Mims Distributing in Raleigh in 1985, serving in various roles in operations and sales. With Empire’s acquisition of the Mims’ wine portfolio in 2000, Greg began his career with Empire as a District Manager. Greg was promoted to Area Sales Manager, which he helped create and then Retail Sales Manager in the Raleigh facility before becoming the General Manager in Asheville. Greg, a widower, enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren, traveling, exploring history, listening to music, and playing golf.
