Doug was born in Cleveland, OH, and raised in Chapel Hill, NC. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University and has earned the Certified Specialist of Wine from the Society of Wine Educators. Since joining Empire Distributors, Inc. in 1990, Doug has held various roles in our Raleigh, Wilmington and Asheville distribution centers. Doug and his wife Amy are the proud parents of two daughters. Doug’s interests include hiking, mountain biking and golf.
